Baitang (Kampuchea) Plc.

About CGC

I. The Company's Profile

Baitang (Kampuchea) Plc. (in English: Cambodian Green Plc.,  also known as Cambodian Green  or the Green) is a public limited company which was officially registered with the Ministry of Commerce on August 6th, 2008. The company has been doing its survey on setting up Baitang communities in various districts in Battambang since  November 2007. Cambodian Green’s  main focus is on buying and selling agricultural products including paddy rice, milled rice, tapioca, soy bean, mung bean, corn, sesame, etc.
So far, we have successfully formed communities in four main districts in Battambang Province-- Phnom Proek,  Sampov Loun, Kamrieng,  and Banan.  We currently have been working on setting up the community  in Ek Phnom and Thmor Kol districts in the province. By April 2009, Cambodian Green has a total member of 1,1139 families (equals to 38 communes = 217 villages).  The company plans to extend the operations in other districts and provinces throughout the country in the future.

At the present time, we are building the processing  complex  (close to Phnom Ta Hok Resort) on the area of  17  hectares  in  Anh Chanh Village, O’Char Commune, Battambang City, Battambang Province, which is along National Road 5 on the way to Banteay Meanchey Province. According to the plan, the construction will be ready in late 2009.

The Green aims at serving the communities through forming Baitang communities and providing various benefits to the local communities as follows:
